How Betfoxx Protects Your Personal and Payment Data
A plain-language look at what we collect, why we collect it, and how it stays secure across your account, payments and support chats.
Privacy at Betfoxx: The Detail Behind the Policy
Last updated: September 9, 2026
This page explains, in ordinary English, what happens to your data from the moment you register to the moment you contact support about a withdrawal.
What We Actually Collect
When you open an account with Betfoxx we collect the basics: name, date of birth, email, phone number and a UK postal address. Age and identity checks are a legal requirement, not a formality, so we may ask for a photo ID or a selfie match during verification. None of this is optional if you want to withdraw.
- Account data: name, date of birth, email, phone, address, password hash
- Identity data: ID document, proof of address, selfie verification where required
- Payment data: card BIN and last four digits, crypto wallet addresses used for deposits and withdrawals, Revolut or bank account details for transfers
- Support data: chat transcripts, call notes, email threads and ticket history
- Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, session length, pages viewed
Why We Collect It
We use this data for four practical reasons: to run your account securely, to process deposits and withdrawals correctly, to meet UK anti-money-laundering and age-verification obligations, and to answer support queries without asking you to repeat yourself every time you contact us. We do not collect data for the sake of it.
Payment Data: Cards, Crypto and Bank Transfer
Card payments through Visa and Mastercard are handled by payment processors that meet PCI DSS standards, meaning your full card number is never stored on our servers. For Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tether deposits, we record the wallet address and transaction hash used, but blockchain activity itself is public and not something we control. Bank transfer and Revolut payments are matched against the name on your verified account to prevent third-party deposits, which is a standard anti-fraud check across UK-facing casinos.
Support Interactions
Live chat transcripts and support emails are kept on file so that if you contact us again about the same issue, the next agent has context instead of starting from zero. Phone calls, where offered, may be logged for quality and dispute purposes. Support data is accessed only by agents handling your specific query, not shared internally beyond what's needed to resolve it.
How the Data Is Protected
Data in transit between your device and our servers is encrypted. Access to identity documents and payment records is restricted to compliance and payments staff on a need-to-know basis, with internal logging on who viewed what and when. We do not sell player data to third parties, and we do not share it with marketing partners outside of what's needed to run our own promotional emails, which you can opt out of at any time.
How Long We Keep It
Account and transaction records are typically retained for the period required under UK anti-money-laundering rules, which can extend beyond account closure. Support transcripts are usually kept for a shorter, defined period unless tied to an open dispute. If you close your account, some records are retained for compliance reasons even though your login access is removed.
Your Rights Under UK Data Protection Law
As a UK-facing site, we handle personal data in line with UK GDPR principles. You have the right to ask what data we hold on you, to request corrections, to ask for erasure where legally possible, and to receive a copy of your data in a portable format. If you're unhappy with how a request was handled, you can escalate to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
A Note on Responsible Gambling and Data
If you use tools on our responsible gambling page, such as deposit limits or self-exclusion requests, that data is recorded specifically to enforce the limit you've set. Support for gambling concerns is also available externally through GamCare (0808 8020 133, https://www.gamcare.org.uk/) and BeGambleAware (https://www.begambleaware.org/), both independent of Betfoxx. Play is 18+ only.
